Abstract: Activity coefficients of aqueous saturated solutions of sodium, potassium and ammonium peroxodisulfates at 0 – 50 °C have been derived on the basis of the thermodynamic equilibrium condition between the solid substance and its saturated solution. Suitable relations for the dependence of the activity coefficients on the temperature have been derived. For the estimation of activity coefficients of diluted solutions, the method according to Bromley has been applied for potassium peroxodisulfate solutions and according to Meissner for sodium and ammonium peroxodisulfate solutions.
